Location and date:

The workshop will be held from January 31 to February 2, 2009 by Agricultural Biotechnology Research Institute of Iran (ABRII) and its Co-organizers at the Conference Halls Complex of the Seed and Plant Imrpovement Institute, in Karaj, Iran (Islamic Republic).  

 

Participants:

50 candidates will be selected among applicants based on their qualifications for participating in the workshop. The selection of the candidates will be on a competitive basis and only outstanding applicants will be selected. The participants should have expertise/education in one of the related fields (agronomy, physiology, plant breeding, genetic engineering, molecular markers and QTL analysis, proteomics and molecular biology).  Applicants should also be fluent in English.

Priority is given to young researchers and Ph.D. students (22-45 years of age) and to candidates who are already involved in ongoing research projects on drought.

proteomics@abrii.ac.ir.

            2. Summarized CV, including publications

            3. One page statement of purpose of participating in the workshop, in which candidate would describe the results he/she expects to obtain from this workshop

 

Incomplete application forms or those received after the deadline will not be processed. We suggest you that send your application form one week ahead of the deadline to the organizing committee.

Successful candidates will be informed by 22th December, 2008.  Information regarding bank account and registration procedure will be emailed to successful candidates and they will be requested to complete the registration by 1st January  2008.
